Superscript/notes in Bon Mariage text
Posted by lspwong on 20 Jan 2011 in Academic
While working with EGB on encoding Le Bon Mariage, we found that superscripts "a", "b", "c" and "d" appeared within the body of the text of the dedication. These letters correspond to notes "a" to "d" that appear in the margin. MH suggested that I enclose the notes in note tags and that he write a new handler for those particular notes so that they will be numbered by letter. We also enclosed all superscript letters in the text in a comment tag and explained that they corresponded with the marginal notes.
