Regarding Martin's report here: I've got a fix and am in the midst of rolling it out. I edited the mimetype handling for Firefox and determined that the important files that get edited when you do this are <profilename.default>\mimeTypes.rdf and <profilename.default>\prefs.js. I'm now pushing those files in to the Default User FF profile.
