For various reasons (teiJournal presentation in Vancouver, issues with setting up confidentiality on the blog, difficulty finding time when both Karin and I are available for working together on the special characters, and now the Inkscape presentation in class next week) this project has fallen way behind, and I need to reschedule all of the tasks in the list. Since I don't have posting privileges, you'll have to do that for me:

This task can be deleted; we're no longer making the attempt to display special characters using Unicode.
