Worked on comparing the abbreviation symbols used in the text against the RET page here. Results appear in a future post (Feb 5) made after finishing the process. There are some obvious errors (missing parentheses etc.) and some other items that look suspicious. When this is finished, I need to sit down with Karin and figure out Unicode representations for those characters which can be represented. One obvious oddity is that long-s appears to have been ignored throughout; that means we can't display it. That will mean that displaying other period features looks a bit strange, absent the s which everyone will know should be there.
