Hello everyone, I am also sorry for not blogging more diligently. My hours have been a bit low this week due to personal commitments (I am about to leave right now to catch the last bus going to Comox Valley tonight) but I will make the time up. Monday morning was our meeting, and the afternoon was spent on research. Tuesday I was attending a convocation. Wednesday was research, and then Thursday I visited the Greater School District Archives of SD61 before they closed for the summer. I got lots of great photographs and a reference to a useful secondary source. The volunteer archivist is a retired principal who is quite interested in our time period, and she gave me lots of good information. Today was also secondary-source research for my write-ups, although I did spend some more time trying to work through all the photos I have taken for the archive. I will spend some time on this in the near future, if only because various archivists have asked to see the photos with the intended captions. Thanks! Have a good weekend! Hannah
