issue concerning Roman names

Posted by nathan on 25 Nov 2015 in Documentation
We need to come up with a standardized way of entering Roman names into the PERS.xml file. I suggest we create the original tag from how the person first shows up in the text. Next we put the persons legal or full Roman name as an "aka". Example: Caesar founded modern day Corinth (Paus 2.3.1). His tag will be CAES1 and under "aka" it will say Gaius Julius Caesar. This method is simply a suggestion, but we should create a standard before moving forward in Pausanias as many Roman names are starting to show up.
