0.25 hours: Update Jenkins servers.
1.75 hours: LEMDO PDF: Abandon KOMA approach to font sizes and instead set sizes where needed in all contexts; query to publisher re spacing after subheadings; figure out how to make double-page graphic start on a verso page (gnarly); include H5 acknowledgements and handle rendering bug.
0.25 hours: Greek site: housekeeping after end of workstudy period; emails to RA and MN to confirm where we stand.
2.50 hours: MyNDIR: Home page grid layout implementation, following PS's CodePen example; make initial name in entity description into link to entity page (in popup on site).
0.25 hours: DVPP: Adding documentation for CSS checking process implemented last week.
1.25 hours: Wendat: Analysis of sample texts based around interlinear glosses, and creation of a proposal for encoding them for ML to consider.
1.00 hours: FacsViewer/Coldesp: working on the FacsViewer code to enable paged display for larger sets of images.

Tuesday 2020-04-28

0.25 hours: Update Jenkins servers.
0.75 hours: Scancan: Entered author's proofing corrections for vol 28 article; built site and published; then further corrections to vol 27 article from HT.
1.50 hours: LEMDO: Devising method for encoding local citation links, and wrote documentation for it. Implementation awaits.
0.25 hours: jTEI Issue 12: Research and decision on encoding/citing of online archives; email to jTEI editors.
1.25 hours: HCMC Blue Jeans meeting.
0.50 hours: MyNDIR: Cleaning up and commenting CSS ready to pass back to PS.
0.75 hours: JTEI Issue 12: Editors' meeting, finalizing the last article for encoding.
2.50 hours: FacsViewer: Set up VSCode and ESLint for better source control; fixed warnings and errors; created dev branch and started coding for paged display of thumbnails; configured JSDoc to generate documentation and began better documentation.

Wednesday 2020-04-29

0.50 hours: Update Jenkins servers. Kernel upgrades, so caution required. Test first on TEI server, then do ours. Cleared out old kernels when confirmed safe.
1.00 hours: LEMDO: Feedback and questions on documentation from yesterday; updates to documentation.
0.25 hours: Workstudy: Final timesheet for JS submitted.
1.00 hours: Scancan: New review encoded an uploaded for proofing; some issues pointed out to editors.
0.25 hours: LEMDO/legacy: Discussion and request for subdomain qme.uvic.ca to point to the QME site to allow secure https.
1.00 hours: DVPP: Discussion of font-family settings and tagging for typefaces and hand-drawn text in illustrations; related research on terminology.
1.50 hours: TEI: Working on Stylesheets ticket 427.
2.00 hours: FacsViewer: Implementing a cleaner process for building the image blocks in JS, using an HTML template. Half done.

1.50 hours: MoEML: Investigate build failure, add memory to process, emails with RA; upgrade Saxon from 9 to 10 and test; add code templates to project.
0.25 hours: DVPP: Tweak schema process and rebuild schema/documentation to include new taxonomy.
1.00 hours: LEMDO: project meeting on Skype.
1.25 hours: Wendat: project meeting, XSLT to generate table of latin abbreviations for team to discuss.
1.00 hours: MoEML: Planning training for new Assistant Junior Programmer.
1.00 hours: Moses: Rebuilding PDF; debugging problem with character display in PDF; discussion with SK on this.
2.00 hours: FacsViewer/Despatches: More progress but template-based approach still not working.

0.50 hours: Scancan: proofing corrections for review; new Schematron rule for citations; question for editor on implications of this.
0.50 hours: LEMDO: Consultations on plan for character list and speech prefix constraints.
0.75 hours: WSANEC dictionary: Consultation with ECZH.
2.00 hours: Wendat: Rewrote the schema build process completely, using a new method which ensures we can build the schema with the latest TEI without the Oxygen plugin, even offline. Will use this approach for other projects too.
1.00 hours: Wendat: Modified new code Wendat schema build process to include a careful harvest of all instances of Latin abbreviations to create a table in the documentation, listing and linking to all the instances in actual documents.
3.50 hours: Wendat: Removed kludgy insertion of FacsViewer codebase in manuscript rendering, replacing it with a simpler modification of the original code which works more intelligently for our particular manuscripts.
