Groups at Troy

Posted by laurenm on 18 Jun 2012 in Activity log
I have created separate groups in the groups list for the Achaeans, the Argives, and the Danaans. I have asked Laurel whether these should all in fact be akas for the same groups, perhaps "Greeks," but she agrees with me that they should be separate groups, as long as the translation is preserving an actual difference in the Greek. I need to check the Greek to make sure this is so. If not, I will see about merging them into one group. I have just begun to mark up references to the Achaeans and Trojans in Book 2 of the Iliad. Also created a group for "Trojans," and I will treat Trojan sub-groups and allies as above.
