Worked through lunch (+.5) while at workshop on Friday. Came back to office after workshop and worked extra hour until 5:30.
Sunday night wrote Showcase announcement for Faculty newsletter to be published Monday morning. +.5

Marie R. came in with an exam tape which was broken, and after splicing it we decided it would be a very good idea to digitize it, just to be on the safe side. Had to stay till it was finished to burn the CD.

For my Project Management course, half the days I'm taking as G&T and the other half as regular work. Tuesday Feb 20 was the first day of the course, so I'm taking 6 hours (full day minus the 1/2 hour before work and 1/2 after work I spent attending to work email).
Monday Feb 19 had to attend to family situation which came up unexpectedly, then stayed a couple extra hours to make sure everything OK - writing those extra couple hours against G&T
Following a conversation Steve Gorham in HR, which clarified that the hours we're tracking here are not formally "CTO", but are the informal give-and-take allowed for by the collective agreement, I've changed the designation from "CTO" to "G&T Hours" (meaning "give and take").

Wrestling with AJAX and XHTML mime types on various browsers -- had to document the results as carefully as possible to avoid wheel-reinvention, so ran over a bit.

Tangled up in getting the DOM/AJAX search code working across IE6 in a VM, Safari on Stew's machine, Opera, IE7 and Firefox on my machine, lost track of time.
