Problems

Student is currently 19990 in the database. According to HISCO 19990 is “Other Professional, Technical and Related Workers Not Elsewhere Classified” which I need to create to place shippers into (as per HISCO), but there is no HISCO number for student. Students with a specific profession like Law Student, Engineering Student etc are classified under their respective professions like Lawyer, Engineer etc. “Student” is assigned -1 or 99999 in HISCO. Classifying students under the field they're studying isn't always possible because some attestations only list “student”. The word “student” is not used in the Outline of HISCO structure document. Unsure of how to proceed.

-> Discussion about creating a new, non conflicting category for student and assigning students to careers as possible i.e. Agriculture Student to Farming, Engineering Student to Engineer etc.
