Continued working through the events to catch up to where my last edit was. Emailed Dr.Bowman.
Ended at 1.6.8: ;but Magas
11:30 - 1:30 (2 hrs)
Spent a fair amount of the day working through Ptolemy and Alexander. All Alexanders have been verified, ID's have been created for them and they have been corrected within PAUS. Additionally, the Ptolemys are mostly sorted, with the exclusion of Philmetor.Their identities have been verified and the correct changes made in PAUS.
Discovered that a fair amount of sib are not placed in alpha within the XML. I have corrected a few and recorded thus, so upon Jan return I will be able to understand if there is a correlation between this and the punctuation and lists in Gene. If so, I will have to go through the lists and reorganize them.
I have not heard from Dr.Bowman on the Ptolemy issue so I will make a point of contacting her in the new year.
Double check PHIL15 and CLEO16 to see if issues were fixed upon reload.
Created events starting with Ptolemy, Son of Lagus.
Hours: 8:15-2:45 (6.5)
Pausanius' history is so spotty that I am creating a list of references for the areas that I have checked that confirm his information.
Lysimachus 10.1:
From these articles I have determined that in 10.1 the Alexander that Pausanius is speaking of is ALexander V of Macedon. While other sources confirm the event, they do not identify who it was that killed Alexander.

Fully enmeshed in the tangle of Ptolemys and Alexanders.
Think I have it sorted, waiting to hear from Dr.Bowman.
Double check Ptolemy lineage links and start on discerning Alexanders through Apollo and Homer to measure against Pausanius. Create events.

You may wonder why the aka's used to differentiate the Ptolemy's are not drawn from the texts (Apollo, Homer, Paus) and instead are taken from Wikipedia. This is because two of the Ptolemy brothers cannot easily be separated by I, II, because they are born under the same father, Ptolemy I, but to each of his different wives: Eurydice and Berenice. Henceforth, they are individualized from the nicknames they are given in Wiki. This was not first executed by me, but after much searching, I realized why this was done and have left them this way for ease of differentiation.
Additionally, although Pausanius linked Ptolemy's brother (Argaeus) and sister (Arsinoe) to him, there was no record of who their parents were, so I had to use Wiki for that information as well. I decided this would be okay because there is much talk of these relations and to understand how they are linked, it was helpful to have working knowledge of their lineage.
