			<description>I've installed a plugin that provides this type of functionality.&lt;br /&gt;
The plugin is called AM Extra Comments and allows blog admins to assign role-based privilege to reading/adding comments.</description>

			<description>I think it's risky to do it during office hours; doing something time-critical and mission-critical when the office is full of people who interrupt every five minutes is a possible recipe for disaster, but it's your choice. We'll do it some time next week. At the very least, we should find some way of limiting interruptions while it's happening.</description>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;With my manager hat on, I would prefer not to have you work weekends and acrue CTO. Could we all agree to a downtime for the blog, say on a Thurs/Fri? Each could keep logs on file and port them later into the new blog version. So far, it is mainly staff using it. (In other words, downtime not inconvenient to outside folks.)&lt;/p&gt;  </description>

			<description>I've been quite active on the Moodle forums recently, in relation to SCORM support in Hot Potatoes. I wonder if it makes sense to have a blog in our blog set for something which will be CASS's project, though? If we're not running the eventual deployment of Moodle, will our blog be their default discussion location for issues they work on, even after our involvement is over?</description>

			<description>It looks like the plugin does not get &quot;installed&quot; when you upgrade (see last post in that thread). It appears as though the issue is resolved by installing the plugin after upgrading. I'll keep an eye on this, but I don't think it should be a reason for not upgrading to 1.9.2.</description>

			<description>With regard to the last point, I don't agree. It's only ambiguous if you're an American, and it's in everyone's interest to confuse Americans about this until they switch to a logical sequence. Only the Japanese use yy/mm/dd to my knowledge, so xx/xx/xx should always be interpreted as dd/mm/yy by anyone using a European language.</description>

			<title>In response to: Online submission form and practices</title>
			<description>Anyone should be able to submit a proposal through the Web form. The form can check for netlink id, and make sure all the boxes are filled in.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When it's submitted, an email should go to us and to the submitter, with the URL of a PHP page which would display the proposal as HTML. That URL can also be posted to our own admin blog as the basis for discussion. We don't have to circulate anything except a URL.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
[Incidentally, proposals precede rather than proceed blogs. :-)]&lt;br /&gt;

			<description>That's right. Anyone with posting privileges can be alerted to the need to turn on Auto-P if they don't know HTML, but since 95% of the posts will be from us, we should optimize the system for ourselves primarily.</description>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Ok by me. Some casual users posting one or two paragraphs will balk at having to use any xhtml tags, even if the tags are placed squarely in front of them. Likely they won't be using ul/ol, in which case being able to post text only (no tags) may determine whether they post at all. So, I gather from your post that individuals will still have the option to enable auto-p, even though the default will be set to &quot;off&quot;.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

If you want to post minutes for yourself, you could just post something that includes the minutes and says &quot;see x's post for details&quot;. Anything more sophisticated is going to be more work than it's worth.&lt;br /&gt;
