Went to an interesting workshop on practical techniques for evacuating people from buildings in the event of an emergency. Came away convinced of a couple of things: first, I need to make sure I know exactly where the muster points are for earthquake and fire (they may be different), and second, we need to buy a couple of blankets. Tagging this as a task to remind myself.
With Greg, write a project plan for:
- survey of current lab users and high-possibility potential users
- detail of sw list provided by Ulf, Catherine et al
- couple of Imacs to test

Stew and I got the workstudy process started for this year: logged on to http://campus.workopolis.com/, tweaked last year's job descriptions a little, and saved them as drafts, then printed them out, along with the form for the dept head to complete, which prioritizes them. We added supervisor's contracts signed by us, and left the package with Judy to pass to Peter. It would be good if we could get this done before Peter goes.
Adding this as a task for June 15, to follow up and make sure it's done.
The Showcase requires a couple of pages of info on the HCMC site, and it will also need a printable flyer. We decided that all HCMC pages should have a worthwhile print output, so we started work on a print.css page, which is now available for all pages on the site, and is 70% complete. Remaining problems are:
