In response to: Processed the latest edits

No problem. I started to translate the Web page "Text Analysis" but I will not post it because I need to polish it.

Have a nice holiday!
In response to: short introductory comments on site

Any which don't have a biblStruct yet will need one at some point, but there's no rush. The bibls are more important, because they appear on the actual site.

I've added this material into the page. There's another couple of paragraphs left to do, then this page is complete!

In response to: New alternate CSS for site

Hi Greg,

We'll need to work on the images separately; the CSS there (especially margin, padding and positioning CSS) is tied closely into the JavaScript, so we'd need to make sure that the changes don't put the image and box positioning out of sync. Also, because of the sheer size of the images, it's going to be difficult to maintain any attractive whitespace balance; that may just have to be sacrificed so that the images themselves can be large enough.

Cheers,
In response to: First image on site

I think the title issue is my fault -- the copies of the data on the site are ones I harvested a couple of weeks ago, so they're not current.

In response to: Jan 18 challenges

Hi Claire,

To use the same categories as you used before, just load an old file which contains those categories, then click on

File / New (with same categories)

You should get a new blank file, with the same categories in it, and you'll see a dialog box asking you to load the image you want to work on.

Sorry I missed you this morning -- I had a meeting downtown.

Hi Claire,

Could you explain what you mean by seeing all of the XML code? Your markup should be available for you to edit, as it was before, but it shouldn't look any different from the way it used to look.

Cheers,
In response to: France's schedule

HI France,

I'll be around on Thursday, so we can run through the notes on the blog and the guidelines on the Website markup page (http://www.tapor.uvic.ca/cocoon/mariage/markup.htm) in case there's anything that isn't clear.

Cheers,
